We were told Penang Hill is a must see destination on the island of Penang and we were not disappointed. We take the Penang Hill Train, which is really more of a Funicular Train which is pulled by a cable and was surprisingly fast. We share with you the Penang Hill ticket pricing and process as well. Penang Hill is a hill resort comprising a group of peaks near the center of Penang Island, Malaysia. It is located within the Air Itam suburb, 9 km west of the center of George Town. Penang Hill is also known by the Malay name Bukit Bendera, which actually refers to Flagstaff Hill, the most developed peak.
