A Walk Around Nathon
Nathon, on the west coast of Koh Samui, is the island's main administrative and ferry town, a very different atmosphere from the tourist hubs of Chaweng and Lamai. Dave and Kim walk the town on camera, showing the local shops, government offices, and everyday Samui life that most visitors never see.
Out on Nathon Pier
The pair walk out on Nathon Pier, where the water was beautiful and the weather a little warm. The pier is the gateway for ferries to the mainland and nearby islands, and it offers wide views back across the town and out toward Ang Thong Marine Park. Sunsets from this side of the island are among the best on Samui.
A Fantastic Quick Lunch
The visit wraps up with a quick lunch that Dave calls fantastic, with the food amazing as usual. Nathon is known among locals for good value Thai seafood and southern dishes at prices below the tourist beach towns, and this video is a gentle nudge to explore beyond the usual resort areas when visiting Koh Samui.
