Bhaktapur is famous as a city of gods, rich in ancient arts, religious values, and fabulous cultural traditions. It is the third of the Kathmandu Valley's medieval Newari cities, alongside Kathmandu and Patan, and it remains the best preserved of the three despite damage from the 2015 earthquake.
