Ask about the offer for your actual date
Contact the resort before making a special trip. Ask whether non-staying guests can visit on the date you want, whether reservations are needed and what the price includes for every person in your party. A room tour or resort video does not establish access to every facility.
Request the specific hours, included areas, towel arrangements and any restrictions you need to know. If food or drink credit is offered, ask where it can be used, when it expires and whether unused credit is refundable. Do not assume credit makes a pass free.
Compare the full day, not just the entrance price
Add the return journey, any food and drinks beyond an included allowance, and the activities you actually want. Compare that total with the day you would otherwise spend. A resort visit may be worthwhile for its setting even when it is not the cheapest option.
Ask about cancellation or a change of plans before paying. If a pool, restaurant or particular space is central to your visit, confirm it is available rather than assuming every feature in the older footage remains open.
Use the video to narrow your questions
Notice the relationship between the spaces shown: where you would relax, eat and move around during the day. Write down the two or three details you cannot settle from the video and ask the resort directly.
